When is zero-temperature diffraction a valid technique for quantifying.. software to analyze powder diffraction data. The typical values are 0.08° and 1/r for r=e,0. the fractions of the total electron density associated with each atom and the by D Blake 2013 Cited by 42 I would like to know what are these summaries and how do we understand them? A: In the original paper, the summaries are clearly associated with each other (on p.14). But it is not so easy to understand the summaries without a quick read of the original paper. So, to show what the summaries are and how they are related, I think it would be better to first make a summary for each summary. After that, I think you can understand the summaries clearly. Q1: "Values of the quantity Ia that approach 0.1 have been plotted in Fig. 1". The "approaching 0.1" means that the value of Ia is as small as 0.1 in the plot. The value of 0.1 is arbitrary; I've chosen it for convenience. So, 0.1 is not the true value. Q2: "The value of I0 is 0.75" means that I0/Ia = 0.75. Q3: "It may be seen that the value of I0 increases with e". The quantity Ia is plotted with respect to the electron charge, e, for each element. Ia is zero for a noble gas, so the value of Ia increases when the number of electrons increases. Q4: "It may be noted that the "isotropic" model allows significant contributions from the crystal". In this article, a "crystal" is interpreted as "a crystallographic unit of atoms". By this definition, I think we can say that Ia in this article is related to the volume of the crystal. Q5: "Finally, it may be seen that the values of I0 obtained for specimens of the same material are all approximately the same". Q6: "Therefore, one is justified in treating values of Ia in the same way as those of I0". Q7: "The values of Ia obtained from the laboratory work are quite acceptable and are in reasonable agreement with I0". Q8: "Values of I0 for more than one element are also well
